I really love to draw him, even a bit more than Jace or Sid
He´s always grinning and smiling, who knows what he´s thinking all day Simon is a freelancing scientist, who has little interest for the agenda of his fellow Wraith. His character is very different to other Wraith, maybe because of his high age. Simon is mostly drawn by hedonism, what leads to a strong will for freedom, even if its only his own.
Simon is the only Wraith besides Sid who enjoys the sideffects of the partial retrovirus treatment - while Jace takes almost a year to get used to solid food and never comes to like it, Simon is nearly eating everything in range, leading to countless stays on the medical bay and a strong addiction to caffeine...

General details about the Wraith in my works


Means: What is canon about the Wraith in my opinion.
Some things I made up, but as close as possible to the details shown/not shown in the series.
Since the Wraith-Antika-wars Wraith mainly reproduce themselves by using cloning-technology. Under queens it has been seen as a unpleasant and unnecessary tradition to keep the old way, so now no queens are known longer reproducing naturally.
Wraith-blood is based on hämocyanine, most similar to our hämoglobin. Hämocyanine gets dark blue-green if its exposed to oxigen, hämoglobin gets dark red.
